The upmarket Clontarf development Castle Vernon sits behind the houses fronting on to Dollymount Avenue, the street that links the seafront promenade with the 500-ac St Anne’s Park.

The second tranche at Castle Vernon, which will comprise 12 semi-detached and one detached four-bed homes, was released in September, a year after the initial launch. There are currently four homes available from the second phase, with prices starting at €935,000. The four-beds in the second phase have a second living room on the first floor - in addition to the formal living room on the ground floor and the lounge area in the open-plan kitchen-diner to the rear.

The latter space has a wall of glazing and sliding doors that open onto a paved patio and the back garden.

These homes span 2,250 sq ft across three floors. The painted wooden units in each kitchen come with quartz worktops and up-stands, soft-close doors - all from Keane Kitchens.

The extra living room on the first floor could be used as a playroom, den or office. This level is also home to the master ensuite and its walk-in wardrobes and feature mirrors. There is another ensuite bedroom on the second floor, as well as two further double bedrooms. The A3-rated houses are less than 200m away from the entrance to Dollymount Strand. Castle Vernon is also within walking distance to Clontarf and Killester Dart. Viewings from 12pm to 1pm tomorrow and by appointment.
